Biological Tree and Landscape Services (BTS) now employs twenty-nine specialists supporting an enhanced array of innovative services and is on tract to continue its trend of double-digit growth annually. As a result, BTS has relocated to an expansive complex at 2036 20th Street in Sarasota’s “Newtown” Enterprise zone. This new facility provides the infrastructure to support the company’s multiple service divisions, which include:

  • Landscape Design and Installation
  • Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
  • Arbor Care, Arbor Evaluation/Reporting, Tree Trimming and Removal
  • Lawn care, including Mulching/Shell/Rock
  • Hardscaping
  • Irrigation and Drainage
  • Landscape Lighting
  • Sustainable Landscape Supply (SLS, BTS’ retail product store)

Coinciding with the move, BTS is hosting a ten-year anniversary Open House at the new facility on Friday, October 24 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. A guest speaker will kickoff the festivities at 3:00 pm followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 pm. The Polo Grill’s Fete Catering will provide hors-d’oeuvres and cocktails.

Biological Tree and Landscape Services is not a typical landscape company. It is an innovative, specialty service provider that develops and utilizes biological products and strategies to diagnose, create, and maintain trees and landscapes. Managing Director, Tammy Kovar, is a plant biologist and certified arborist who launched BTS in 2004. Kovar and Chief Operating Officer, John Forrest, are both “Green” industry veterans having owned and worked with national landscape and nursery supply companies.

Providing sustainable tree and landscape solutions through proven, natural methods has driven the company’s impressive growth. Homeowners and businesses appreciate the individualized, effective solutions provided by BTS, which create exceptionally beautiful, healthy landscapes that stimulate the senses. Continued company growth is assured due to Kovar and Forrest’s unique analytical, scientific, and synergistic leadership. Their goal is create masterpiece landscapes — one property at a time.

More news specific to recently added staff specialists will be released shortly.
